Brainspotting Phase 1
March 8, 2024 - March 10, 2024
9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Pie Frey, PsyD. is the Lead US Trainer and has assisted Dr. David Grand, the developer of Brainspotting, in many of his training workshops and intensives. She has trained thousands of BSP therapists all over the United States and Canada in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 since 2009. Dr Frey also runs 5-day Intensives, which is a small, intense BSP group for only 10 therapists at a time. She facilitates Brainspotting consultation groups and offers individual consultation to BSP therapists. Dr. Frey founded and is the President of the Rocky Mountain Brainspotting Institute in Colorado, which is a nonprofit dedicated to educating the community about Brainspotting and developing a free scholarship program using Brainspotting as the main modality.
Brainspotting bridges the realms of classic psychotherapy and advanced neurobiology. This modality connects the physical with the emotional, forging links between the visceral experiences of trauma and the brain’s neural configurations. By targeting and recalibrating synaptic architectures, Brainspotting offers a deep, transformative therapeutic process that moves beyond mere symptom relief.
